Πλησιάζοντας προς το τέλος της Αποκριάς, μέσα στο γενικό κλίμα ευφορίας και χαράς παρουσιάζεται μια ιδιαίτερη σημαντική εικαστική έκθεση στην Ελληνογερμανική Αγωγή. Ο λόγος, για την αντιπροσωπευτική ατομική έκθεση της ναιφ ζωγράφου Σοφίας Καλογεροπούλου που εγκαινιάζεται την Τετάρτη 22 Φεβρουαρίου 2017, στις 20:00.
Η ναιφ ζωγραφική προέρχεται από τον λατινικό όρο "nativus" που σημαίνει φυσικός
Αντλώντας έμπνευση από την ελληνική παράδοση, την ελληνική κλασική μουσική- ειδικά από την όπερα- τα παραμύθια και την ρομαντική εποχή της belle epoque, η ζωγράφος συνθέτει έναν κόσμο "μαγικό". Μέσα από τα πολύχρωμα, φωτεινά και χαρούμενα έργα της αφηγηται μικρές ιστορίες ήρωων και παραστατικών της φαντασιάς και του ονείρου.
Με μια παιδική αθωότητα που την διακρίνεις, η Σοφιά Καλογεροπούλου δημιουργεί έναν κόσμο παραμυθένιο όπου το παρελθόν, ανάμεσα σε θάλασσες και βουνά, εκκλησάκια και δρόμους, καθημερινότητες και πανηγύρια, συναντά το παρόν και η Ανατολή την Δύση.
"Η φούγκα του δασκάλου". Λιστόν, Κέρκυρα. Εμπνευσμένο απο το βιβλίο του Σπύρου Σίγμα "Έρωτες στα χρόνια του πολέμου".
'Εργο με τίτλο "Αριστοφανειάδα". Η δημιουργός αφιερώνει το συγκεκριμένο έργο στον συνθέτη Μάνο Χατζηδάκη γιατί έγραψε στις περισσότερες κωμωδίες του Αριστοφάνη- την μουσική.
Για τον εικαστικό «κόσμο» της ζωγράφου, θα μιλήσει κατά την ημέρα των εγκαινίων, η Επιμελήτρια της έκθεσης, Κριτικός & Ιστορικός Τέχνης κ. Αθηνά Σχινά.

The magical world of Sophia Kalogeropoulou
The new solo exhibition of artist Sophia Kalogeropoulou at EllinoGermaniki Agogi
As we are close to the end of the Halloween, during this general climate of joy and prosperity, the EllinoGermaniki Agogi private school presents a significant art exhibition. The new retrospective solo exhibition of the naive painter Sophia Kalogeropoulou will be presented on Wednesday 22 February 2017, at 20:00. The exhibition will showcase the most representative works from the artist and will be on display until March 3rd 2017.
The term "naive" and the characterization of naive painting emanates from the latin world "nativus" which means physical.
Influenced by the Greek Folk tradition, the Greek classical music-especially the opera- the fairytales and the romantic era of belle epoque the artist has been over composing a "magical" world. Remaining faithful to her colorful bright palette she creates works that narrate stories of heroes and incidents that derived from fantasy and imagination.
With her own unique innocence-that you can distinguish-Sophia Kalogeropoulou is picturing a mythical world almost like a fairytale where the past, between seas and mountains churches and streets locals and feasts, meets the present and the East meets the West.
Tribute to Aristophanes: The artist dedicates the particular work to the great composer Manos Chatzidakis because he wrote- the music- for the most works of the Greek playwright.
For the "visual" world of the artist, will talk at the opening day the curator of the exhibition, critic & art historian Ms Athina Schina.
