Η υαλογραφία είναι το χρωματισμένο γυαλί που χρησιμοποιείται για να κατασκευάσει κανείς διακοσμημένα παράθυρα ή άλλα αντικείμενα, τα οποία διαπερνά το φως΄ και μια μορφή ζωγραφικής σε γυαλί, συγγενής με το ψηφιδωτό, που επιτρέπει στο φως να το διαπερνά, έτσι το κάθε έργο μπορούν να προσαρμοστούν και να σχεδιαστούν για τον κάθε χώρο.
Η τέχνη αυτή καθιερώθηκε να λέγεται και Βιτρώ (γαλλικά: vitrail/vitraux) και συγγενεύει με τη ζωγραφική και τα ψηφιδωτά.
Η Στέλλα Ζαλώνη μια νεαρή καλλιτέχνης, έμαθε την τεχνική του Βιτρώ το 2001, παρακολουθώντας μαθήματα σε Αθήνα και Λονδίνο. Έχωντας εμπειρία στον χώρο της γραφιστικής και του σχεδίου, και με έμπνευση την θάλασσα, το φως και τον ουρανό της Ελλάδος κατασκευάζει διακοσμητικά αντικείμενα, κοσμήματα μέχρι και έργα μεγαλύτερων διαστάσεων όπως παράθυρα και επιστραπέζια φωτιστικά. Μια αγαπημένη της δημιουργία (αλλά και δική μου, θα συμφωνήσω σε αυτό!) είναι ο περιστεριώνας, φωτιστικό τον οποίο εμπνευστηκε από τον τόπο καταγωγής της την Τήνο.
Για τους λάτρεις του χειροποίητου, οι δημιουργίες της Στέλλα Ζαλώνη μπορούν να ομορφύνουν τον χώρο σας, να σας ταξιδέψουν αλλά και αποτελούν μια όμορφη πρόταση για προσωπικό και εταιρικό δώρο!

The art of stained glass, is the colored glass that is used to reconstructed decorative windows or other objects, that are transparent to the light; it is a form of painting, relative, relavant to the mosaic, that allows the light to penetrate; therefore each artwork can be adapted and designed specifically for each space.
This form of art was fixed to be named as vitraux (definition in french: vitrail) which narrates with painting and mosaic.
Stella Zaloni a young talented artist has learned the art of vitraux in 2001, studying classes based in Athens and London. Having a significant experience in the fields of graphic design and been inspired by the Greek Sea, the light and the Blue of Greece; she constructs decorative objects, imaginative jewerly as well as larger scale artworks, including windows and in-table lighting. One of her favorite creations (and mine also i have to note!) is the dovecotes a lighting that was inspired by her homeland, the island of Tinos.
For the admires of handmade, the glass-creations of Stella Zaloni, can brighten up your space, let them travel you mentally, but also are an ideal and beautiful proposal to decorate your personal area, or to gift them as a personal or a corporate gift!
